GUAM frozen conflicts to be discussed in UN General Assembly

"GUAM protracted conflicts, their influence on international arena, security and development are expected to be discussed in the 61st session of UN General Assembly on December 4," said Foreign Ministry Information Policy Department Chief Tahir Tagizadeh.

He told the APA that GUAM diplomats in the UN have already prepared the draft resolution to be discussed. He did not rule out the change of the date of the discussion.

The problem was included in the agenda of the session on the initiative of GUAM member states – Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova during the opening of the session in September.
