President Aliyev presented with Michael Zukkov Foundation prize

At the ceremony on this occasion, member of the Foundation's Board Martin Oppenbring informed the audience on activities of the organization and its head Michael Zukkov. Azerbaijan, by its biodiversity, he said, is one of unique regions of the world.

Michael Zukkov himself, speaking next, said he had been deeply impressed by Azerbaijan’s nature when he first saw it 30 years ago.

He highly valued President Ilham Aliyev's conservation efforts.

Zukkov presented the Azerbaijani leader with the Foundation's prize.
