Turkish States' Presidents to hold summit in Antalya

Turkish State Presidents will hold summit in Antalya November 17, Turkey Foreign Ministry informs.

It will be 1-day meeting and the agenda has not been yet determined. Answering the question of our correspondent whether Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan leaders will participate in the summit the ministry official said that they have not precise information on it.

"We are eager to see them in the summit," he said.

The first summit of Turkish States' Presidents was held in Ankara on October 30, 1992.

The late Turkish President Turgut Ozal suggested establishing economical union of Turkish States and Azerbaijani President approved this proposal.

According to APA, the last summit was held in Istanbul in October 2000. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev accepted the invitation of Turkish President Ahmed Nejdat Cezar and participated in the summit.
