National holiday of China marked in Baku

After the state anthems were performed, Ambassador Zhang Haizhou spoke about China's glorious history. He, in particular, dwelt on the signed documents on cooperation between two countries, mutual visits of the heads of state, bilateral relations basing on respect to sovereignty and recognition of territorial integrity.

Just on such ground, were established the diplomatic relations between two states, the Ambassador stressed.

First vice-speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Ziyafet Askarov congratulated the audience on the Chinese holiday, conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes of President Ilham Aliyev.

At reception, present were the state and governmental officials, MPs, ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in Azerbaijan.
