Damage to Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia costs $80-100bn

"The damage to the real estate in the Azerbaijani territories occupied by the Armenian Armed Forces costs USD80-100bn with consideration of the present inflation," State Real Estate Registration Service (SRERS) chairman Arif Garashov said.

He said the cost of the damage caused by Armenians was estimated by the State Committee for Refugees and Displaced Persons, State Statistical Committee and the SRERS, APA reports.

"This figure has been submitted to the Council of Europe and the UNO. I think this figure should be updated."

Mr. Garashov said they have also estimated the damage to the Azerbaijanis deported from Armenia.

"Their properties were documented. The results were referred to UN discussions in the minorities and regional conflict."
