Azeri FM visits U.S.

On September25, Mammadyarov took part at the meeting of GUAM foreign ministers. Later, the GUAM-US meeting was held. Attending were foreign ministers of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova and US Department of State coordinator on GUAM David Kramer. The sides discussed the conflicts in the territory of GUAM, which are on the agenda of 61st session and their implications on international peace and security.

The same day, Mr. Mammadyarov chaired the coordination meeting of the Islamic Conference Organization (OIC) foreign ministers.

FM Mammadyarov is expected to hold talks with his counterparts from Nepal, Syria and Jordan. At 18.00 p.m. he will make statement at the general discussions of the UN 61st session.
