Defense Minister meets ICRC officials

Mr. Abiyev expressed his satisfaction with Mrs. Wertns' activity and events timely carried out by ICRC in Azerbaijan.

Mrs. Wernts, in her turn, showed her gratitude for Azerbaijan government's support in solution of numerous problems. The relations between the government of Azerbaijan and ICRC became closer and opening of the office of International Committee of the Red Cross in Barda region was an important event in these ties, she said.

She was pleased with active participation of the representatives of Azerbaijani Armed Forces in ICRC-led courses.

Mr. Abiyev, in his turn, wished Mrs. Wernts and Mr. Amacher success in their future activities.
