Ukrainian Diplomatic Academy ready to receive Azeri students

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Talat Aliyev has visited the Diplomatic Academy under the MFA of Ukraine.

In the course of talk, rector of the Ukraine Academy Nikolay Kulinich emphasized necessity of establishment of close cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies of two countries. He is going to discuss with the Azerbaijani side the questions of cooperation at the forthcoming annual meeting of the rectors of diplomatic academies in Vienna, he said.

Having stopped on new directions in the activity of Academy, the rector has emphasized, that Southern Caucasus, in particular, Azerbaijan, attracts Ukraine. In this connection, he proposed to assist in carrying out of bilateral scientific seminars, symposiums, and exchange of listeners. The Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine is ready to allocate quotas for training of Azerbaijani students on a free-of-charge basis.

T. Aliyev spoke of Victor Yushchenko's visit to Baku, the fruitful meetings he had there, the signed important documents, including the reached agreement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of two countries on training of diplomats.

At meeting, also was noted importance of carrying out current year in Kiev an international conference, devoted to results of official visit of President Victor Yushchenko to Azerbaijan.
