Defence Industry Minister meets Turkish Defence Minister

Minister of Defense Industry Yavar Jamalov met September 12 in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul.

Mr. Jamalov said his ministry is keen to cooperate with respective authorities in Turkey. He noted Azerbaijan wants to benefit from Turkey's defense industry experience.

Vecdi Gonul, in his turn, stressed the need to enhance defense relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, adding he believes the two countries' ministries will further deepen their cooperation.
