US to support modernization of several military units in Azerbaijan

The United States is expected to support modernization of several military units in Azerbaijan in the framework of the Train and Equip program.
A military source told the APA the sides have concluded an agreement for that. Azerbaijani military circles discussed this issue in the talks with US European Command (CENTCOM).

Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said it was not informed about this.
The Train and Equip program is implemented in Georgia too. Under this program, the Pentagon military men support trainings in several selected military units.
