Azerbaijan to open new embassies abroad

Azerbaijani Parliament's International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties Standing Commission held its first session in the autumn session, the Parliament press service told.

The Commission chief Samed Seyidov addressing the parliament sitting recalled the fifth anniversary of 9/11 terror attacks in the United States adding that Azerbaijan has also suffered terrorism.

Then the Commission discussed the project on establishing new embassies in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Lithuania, Thailand and Mexico.

Mr. Seyidov said these embassies will play a great role in making public Azerbaijani truth to the world. The projects on cooperation with Japan, Germany, Luxemburg, Belarus and Moldova were also discussed at the meeting.

The projects were submitted to the Parliament for discussion, APA reports.
