Yushchenko visits Alley of Martyrs

Visiting Baku Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko and his accompanying delegation today visited the Alley of Martyrs where they commemorated brave sons of Azerbaijan who sacrificed their lives for independence and territorial integrity of the country, and laid wreaths at the memorial Eternal Fire.

The Ukrainian delegation also commemorated the national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and laid wreaths at his tomb at the Alley of Honors.

They also laid flowers at the tomb of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
