Turkish Ambassador: "Azeri peacekeepers can serve jointly with Turkish forces in Lebanon"

Azerbaijani peacekeepers can serve jointly with Turkish forces in Lebanon as in Kosovo and Afghanistan, said Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Turan Morali.

"Azerbaijan has no concrete plans on deploying peacekeepers. We think Azerbaijani servicemen can serve jointly with our soldiers," Ambassador told the APA.

Azerbaijani peacekeepers are serving in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. 213 Azerbaijani soldiers are taking part in peacekeeping operations.
