Turkish Congress will be held in Kamar district in Antalya, Turkey on 17-20 September this year.

Former State Minister, head of Turk States Friendship and Cooperation Foundation Abdulhaluk Chay told, APA reports.

He said non-traditional character of the Turkish Congress is due to some misunderstandings. This Congress will bring together representatives from six Turks states as well representatives of Turkish communities from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Greece, Romania, Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia.

"We have also invited representatives form the country where Turkish work. We try not to loose the balance. Though mainly state and government representatives have been invited, the decisions of the free forum will be submitted to official representatives for implementation," Mr. Chay said.

He also said Azerbaijani and Kazakhstani Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Nursultan Nazarbayev are much likely to attend the congress.

"President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is sure to attend the congress. There will be also high ranking officials from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan and culture ministers from the rest thirteen countries. It is very important to have talks with high ranking officials on ways how to develop cooperation," he said.

Abdulhalik Chay also said the cooperation between Turk states is not in satisfactory level.
