Azerbaijani President receives US Senator Richard Lugar

As APA reports, the head of state said Azerbaijan-US bilateral relations continue to develop successfully in different spheres after his latest visit to Washington. He added these relations are based on friendship and mutual support.

Stressing that the Azerbaijani side attaches great importance on senator Lugar's visit in our country, President Ilham Aliyev said the visit shows bilateral and strategic relations.

Mr.Lugar stressed the economy is speedily developing in Azerbaijan noting Azerbaijan has achieved more progress than expected. The Senator expressed satisfaction of bilateral relations between US and Azerbaijan.
