Viktor Yushchenko confers first degree order on Azerbaijani FM

President Viktor Yushchenko issued an executive order on conferring first degree order "For Contributions" on Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bejuashvili, Polish Senate Marshall Bogdan Borusevich.

Moldovan Foreign Minister & European Integration Minister Andrey Stratan have also been conferred this high order.

Ukrainian President issued executive orders on conferring high orders on several more senior officials on the occasion of the 155th anniversary of independence of the country.

Under these orders, European Union Secretary General Javier Solana, ex-president of Czechia Vatslav Havel, Belarus writer Nila Gilevich, ex-foreign minister of Lithuania Antanas Valonis were conferred the third degree "Duke Yaroslav Mudriy", Russian President's adviser Boris Nemchoiv, US Senate Committee of Foreign Relations Richard Lugar, Polish writer Zbignev Domino fifth degree "Duke Yaroslav Mudriy".

NATO Parliamentary Assembly chairman Pierre Lelyush was conferred the second degree "For Contributions" order, APA reports.
