Nazih Gassoub: "Azerbaijanis evacuated from Lebanon have not applied for returning"

He said Lebanese refugees are coming back to their homes, APA reports.

"However, the situation is not so good. About 25 villages have been ruined in Lebanon. It will take some time to rebuild the destroyed houses. The roads, airports, ports are still closed. It is difficult to travel to anywhere from Lebanon. The desperate people are waiting for international aids," the honorary Consul said.

Mr.Gassoub also said Azerbaijanis evacuated from Lebanon have not contacted him for returning to the country, "I think the people find it difficult to make decisions on returning as they are not sure their safety is ensured there."
