EU refuses to recognize Hezbollah as terrorist

The European Union did not include Hezbollah into the list of terrorist organizations.

As APA reports, Finnish Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja after long discussions concluded that it is not expedient to include the Hezbollah into the lists of terrorist organizations.

"There is a very sensitive situation now. The decision on Hezbollah might be reconsidered in future but it is impossible to include this organization into black list now," Mr. Tuomioja said.

The US and Israel have already included the Hezbollah into the list of terrorist organizations.
