Elmar Mammadyarov to attend BTC opening ceremony.

Azerbaijan's foreign minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, is scheduled to arrive in Turkey on Monday for an official visit that will end on Thursday, APA reported on Saturday, citing sources from the press office of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The report didn't elaborate on the details of the visit, but while in Turkey Mammadyarov is expected to attend an official ceremony inaugurating oil shipments to the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan, the last stop of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline, called the 'project of the century'.
