AGO Monitoring Group chairman to report on Azerbaijan and Armenia

The meeting of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers will be held in Strasbourg tomorrow.

APA reports quoting the Council of Europe's Secretariat that Chairman of the AGO Monitoring Group, German permanent representative at the COE, Ambassador Roland Wegener will present an oral report on his visits in Armenia and Azerbaijan (9-10 and 13-14 June 2006).

During the visit in the region, the AGO Group monitored Azerbaijan's and Armenian compliance with the commitments they assumed while joining the Council of Europe.
