Bahar Muradova receives European Ambassadors to OSCE

Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, vice-president of parliament, Bahar Muradova today received Ambassadors of European states to OSCE, who are visiting our country to familiarize with it.

As APA reports, addressing the meeting, Ms. Muradova appraised high level relations between Azerbaijan and OSCE.

"Azerbaijan is interested in expanding its activity in the frames of the OSCE. Fundamental principles of OSCE provides cooperation in establishment of peace and stability in the world, finding way out from critical situation, reducing of risks as well as in ecology security. Azerbaijan as a country suffering from conflicts wants to donate a gift to removal of worldwide problems," Ms. Muradova said.

Touching on OSCE's role in finding solution of frozen conflicts, the parliamentarian highly appreciated the efforts in this field. The vice-speaker appraised the OSCE Minsk Group's strong efforts in the past one year in finding solution of the Nagorno Garabagh conflict that meets the benefits of the parties to the conflict.

"The Minsk Group's active participation increased hopes for the settlement of the conflict," she said.

Spain's Ambassador to OSCE Sanzhes de Boado said the visit is not official but aims at acquainting. He said the visit was paid in the frames of the OSCE fact-finding mission.
