Council of Europe names new envoy

The Council of Europe Secretary General Terry Davis has appointed his new special representative on Azerbaijan.

According to AssA-Irada, Denis Bribosia, a Belgian citizen, is expected to take up his duties in June, the CE Information Office in Baku said. The date of the new envoy's arrival in the country is not known yet.

Mats Lindberg who previously acted in this capacity left Azerbaijan late in February.
