Azeri and Jewish diasporas to cooperate

At the meeting, exchanged were views on development of communications between Jewish and Azerbaijan Diaspora organizations. N. Ibrahimov reminded, that recently in the USA he took part in the actions, devoted to the 100 anniversary of the Congress of the American Jews. He said the Jewish Diaspora possesses wide experience in use of which the Azerbaijan communities require.

J. Shagal has told, that he was born in Azerbaijan and had long time lived here, therefore, considers as his second Motherland. He said that now in Israel there are thousand Jews, which were born in Azerbaijan. The visitor has emphasized, that friendly traditions between two peoples continue, and hitherto they have deep historical roots.

Having noted, that there are ample opportunities for development of cooperation between the Azerbaijan and Jewish Diasporas, J. Shagal has told, that it is necessary to use this potential more effectively. The communications between two countries develop from year to year, the visitor said. Historically Azerbaijan always was one of the countries where Jews always lived easy and safely.

Therefore, all Jewish people loves Azerbaijan, wishes it development, progress, he emphasized, AzerTAg reports.
