US Senate to confirm new ambassador to Azerbaijan

The US Senate will hold hearing related to appointment of new ambassadors to Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

US Embassy public affairs officers Jonathan Henick told APA that the new US ambassador is due to arrive in Azerbaijan in summer.

US President George Bush announced his intention to nominate Anne Derse to be ambassador to Azerbaijan on 14 April.
