Ilham Aliyev meets President of Iran

Today President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The two Presidents recalled their last-December meeting in Nakhchivan, pointed to commonality of the two peoples' historical roots and present friendly relations. They underlined the significance of billateral and regional cooperation in energy fields, and importance of reciprocal visits.

The also discussed number of other issues of mutual interest, AzerTAg reports.
