CIS Pre-election Mission publicizes its report on situation in Azerbaijan

Press Release given to APA by CIS Observation Mission headquarters reads that since re-election campaign started, CEC members appeared on TV channels 60 times, 8 campaign articles were printed in newspapers, 3 roundtables were held, trainings for constituency and poling station commission members are ongoing.

The mission states that preparation for elections continues inline with the country law.

The mission requests CEC, Supreme Court, Prosecutor's Office and Interior Ministry to give information about consideration of complaints and appeals in order to achieve transparent and objective analysis of these.

Press release reads that 29 applications from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus-Russia Parliament Union and CIS Executive Committee were sent to Azerbaijani CEC for observation of rerun of elections in Azerbaijan.
