Naked truth about Armenian Nazism: Who is Pashinyan's teacher?

06 January 2025 [11:00] - TODAY.AZ

Armenian nationalism bordering on Nazism is a phenomenon that has not yet been well studied. Not because he had just appeared, but because he had always been hiding behind the screen of "holy revenge" and in this form was readily perceived by the world. The atrocities committed by Armenians in Ottoman Turkiye against the Turkish and Kurdish peoples, the unprecedented massacre of Dashnaks in Baku and other cities of Azerbaijan in March 1920, the brutal ethnic cleansing and genocide of Azerbaijanis on the territory of Armenia and the lands occupied by it from 1987 to 1994, the barbaric shelling of peaceful Azerbaijani cities during the 44-day war - all this has remained outside the boundaries of world interest, as it is somehow not accepted to blame the supposedly long-suffering Armenians for something. Armenians always play the role of victims, even if these "victims" burn out the eyes of babies.

I must say that our neighbors are very good at playing the role of victim. They always have a lot of grateful viewers who are ready to take out handkerchiefs and wipe their tears and snot. Thanks to the active lobbying and money of the Diaspora, as well as the Christian Club, there is little interest in the deeds of the Armenian Nazis in the world. The Armenian side and pro-Armenian propaganda have created many myths designed to form the image of innocent, civilized Armenians who only wanted foreign territories and received war from nomads and barbarians for it. It is claimed that the Karabakh conflict began with the events in Sumgayit, and theorists do not care that ethnic cleansing had already taken place in Armenia long before that, and the first victims of the conflict unleashed by the Armenians were precisely Azerbaijanis, civilians of the then Armenian SSR. If we start to look into this, we will have to cancel dozens of resolutions adopted in European structures and Western parliaments in support of Armenians, rewrite thousands of commissioned opuses and lose the satisfaction that the lobby has been feeding on for many years.

The Karabakh conflict no longer exists, it is closed and sealed by the Azerbaijani side, and Baku will not allow anyone else to touch this topic. However, this does not mean that new facts cannot be added to the case that can clarify what really happened in the South Caucasus in the late 80s and early 90s of the last century. Unlike in those years, today Azerbaijan has enough resources, opportunities and friends not to remain in the shadows, for example, what became known the other day thanks to the famous blogger Albert Isakov.

Isakov's video published last week flaunts the true essence of Armenia's national idea in all its glory.

The blogger found and voiced in Russian the speech of the first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan to the members of the volunteer, or rather terrorist organization Yerkrapah. The young and "victorious" Ter-Petrosyan talks about the achievements of his AOD, the Armenian National Movement, and explains the steps he has taken. The recording was made in July 1993, just in the days when the Armenian invaders entered Aghdam and had already begun burning the city. Ter-Petrosyan solemnly informed the audience at the end of his speech, to loud applause.

The cynicism with which the first President of Armenia talks about the crimes committed by the Armenian side is striking. Apparently, he does not consider ethnic cleansing crimes. Ethnic cleansing becomes a crime only when the Armenians themselves try to blame someone else for it. And in their execution, both purges and genocide are not a criminal act, but the fulfillment of an age-old dream. Let's listen to Ter-Petrosyan. "Thanks to this movement, Armenia and Karabakh solved one problem that the Armenian people could not solve for 600 years - Armenia and Karabakh were completely cleansed of other nations. I repeat, this is a 600-year-old problem, and the Armenian people will feel its significance for another 600 years after that. Imagine if there were 170,000 people of other nationalities in Armenia, then today the Armenians would not have a state, they would not be able to protect their northern and eastern regions, the Sevan region, and they would get three new problems here," says the first president.

And he lists it with horror: in three districts, Azerbaijanis were the majority. These are Vardenis, Masis and Amassia, a huge number of them lived in Zangezur. Ter-Petrosyan lists these facts with such emotions, as if he were talking about saving Armenia from hordes of unprecedented monsters outnumbered and outnumbered. And those listening to him in the audience nod their heads, and their eyes burn with pride and enthusiasm. I should be proud of them. Yerkrapah was established as an organization in 1993, but most of the members of this terrorist structure were directly involved in the massacre of peaceful Azerbaijanis.

Thanks to Albert Isakov. His work proves that the ethnic cleansing in Armenia was sanctioned and planned, and was not the result of local conflicts and hooliganism. It was a prepared action in which the authorities, nationalist movements, and the police participated. In short, the entire Armenian society, which, according to Ter-Petrosyan, has been waiting for "600 years" to be able to get rid of the indigenous population of the territories where it was settled.

However, Armenian nationalism has never shied away from sacrifices in the face of its own tribesmen. Ter-Petrosyan openly stated that the Armenians living in Baku had become victims of the games organized by Yerevan, which he, Levon, did not regret at all. These people could become "prisoners" and "the best lever to bring the Armenians to their knees." That is, they could have prevented the realization of the "600-year-old dream" if they had not been sacrificed. It's okay that they've suffered, but some of them have moved to Armenia and will help fix the demographic situation there by multiplying...

Listening to cynical arguments about the fate of Armenians, one ceases to resent Ter-Petrosyan's indifference to the fate of Azerbaijanis.

In 1993, in the days of "victories," Levon Ter-Petrosyan had not yet seen the bleak future of his country. He hoped that 600 additional victorious years lay ahead for the Armenians in the sprawling multi-million Armenia, whose prosperity would be built on the blood and tears of the indigenous population. The first president had a lot of plans during his triumph. He told the Yerkrap terrorists that he was going to stop the war, establish lasting peace, and therefore drag out negotiations on the status of Karabakh for 20-30 years. In the meantime, according to his calculations, the captured Karabakh will be able to strengthen, develop, and increase its population and economy. Against the background of Azerbaijan, torn apart by civil strife and chaos at that time, all this seemed to Ter-Petrosyan a completely feasible task. He spent too much time digging through the archives of the Matenadaran instead of spending time studying the realities. The understanding of the catastrophe came only in 1997, when Azerbaijan had already made significant progress under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev and the outlines of the future had become unbearably clear.

In September 1997, just four years after the Nazi rants at the Yerkrap gathering, Ter-Petrosyan gave a shocking press conference to the "victors", at which he stated the need for compromises and the ruinous preservation of the status quo for Armenia. This epiphany cost Ter-Petrosyan power. However, we will not idealize this figure. What made him see clearly was not an understanding of the hellish essence of what Armenians had created, but a premonition of failure. When Armenia was on the verge of fulfilling its "age-old dream," he talked about the victims of ethnic cleansing as dirt that Armenia should be cleansed of. For him, as for other adherents of the national idea, born of the enemy of the human race, the Azerbaijanis were a hindrance, an inferior race that did not deserve to share the same space with the Armenians. Therefore, they were shamelessly deleted. And what methods are not important.

Speaking at a gathering of terrorists and war criminals, the first president did not yet know how all this "victorious" madness would end for Armenia. Therefore, he was outspoken and was not ashamed to openly admit to targeted ethnic cleansing carried out in fulfillment of the pan-Armenian nationalist dream. He spoke in front of his own people and did not think about how his words would be perceived in thirty years. But the pan-Armenian dream did not last not only 600 tons, but even thirty years, collapsing in the fall of 2020.

Today, Armenia, which is guilty of numerous crimes against humanity, is filing lawsuits against Azerbaijan in international instances, accusing it of ethnic cleansing. Armenia, which expelled two hundred thousand Azerbaijanis, today refuses to discuss their return to their ancestral lands, while demanding the unconditional and collective return of Armenians to Karabakh. It is impossible to imagine greater cynicism and arrogance. And in this persistence in evil, she is actively supported by many. Complaints about the "ethnic cleansing of Armenians" are being seriously considered in some international and European offices, resolutions are being adopted, statements are being made, and demands for sanctions against Baku are being made. Which is no less cynicism and arrogance.

The video posted by Isakov should be translated into English and French. It is in these languages that insinuations against Azerbaijan are most often heard. The truth about the crimes of the Armenians must be widely disseminated.

By the way, Ter-Petrosyan's student Nikol Pashinyan is constantly trying to blackmail Baku with lawsuits in international courts, pedaling ethnic cleansing, which did not take place. If Baku agrees to this and that, you see, it is ready to withdraw the claims.

Let's not be rude and won't explain to Pashinyan where he should go with these lawsuits and how to apply them more usefully. I think he understands this himself. And if he doesn't understand, let him contact his mentor Levon - he knows.
