16 March 2006 [10:25] - TODAY.AZ
An MP elected to the Milli Majlis at the 2005 election has declined to meet with the US ambassador to Azerbaijan Reno Harnish.

Panah Huseyn, as well as two other opposition deputies, including the deputy chairman of major opposition Popular Front Party (PFPA), Jamil Hasanli, had been invited to the US embassy. "But I did not attend the meeting," Huseyn told AssA-Irada while commenting on the reports.
The discussions centered on the activity of the newly-elected MPs in the legislative body.

Huseyn who was frustrated due to being searched prior to entering the room and having to wait too long for a reception, lost his temper and refused to attend the meeting.
