WAC appeals to UN Secretary General

As APA reports, the appeal reads that Azerbaijani people were divided into some parts 170 years ago and experienced obligatory separation. Unification intentions of Azerbaijani people underwent Russian and Iranian pressure every time and Azerbaijan sacrificed thousands on this way.

"Azerbaijanis were deprived of living in their historic lands normally. Our compatriots living in the Southern Azerbaijan in Iran can not enjoy their simple human rights. World community doesn't pay attention to this injustice and doesn’t support the democratic struggle of Azerbaijani people. Taking these into account, World Azerbaijanis want UN to provide Azerbaijani people with the status of divided nation."
