Azerbaijan Minister of Economy holds meeting with Uzbekistan Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade

Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov in the city of Shusha, Azernews reports.

The meeting emphasized the special role of the political will of the heads of state, high-level visits, meetings, and events in the development of bilateral relations with friendly Uzbekistan.

It was noted that due to mutual efforts, the activities of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, which is an important platform for the development of economic ties, have intensified.

The Uzbek side was informed about the favorable business and investment environment in Azerbaijan, the restoration and reconstruction work, as well as the revival of business activity in the territories liberated from occupation, and the opportunities created there for investors. Uzbek investors are invited to take advantage of Azerbaijan's favorable business environment.

The parties discussed the strengthening of economic partnerships in various areas and other issues of mutual interest.
