Elchin Guliyev: "SBS plans to hold training"

The State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan plans to hold exercises on the country's inner territorial waters, the SBS head Elchin Guliyev has told journalists today.

"The exercises will be related to the oil infrastructure defense measures, frontier guarding, coastal guarding and etc," Guliyev said.

The precise date for training has not been set yet, however, according to the SBS head, they are likely to be held before summer.

Guliyev declined the rumours on having joint exercises with NATO and the GUAM organization, Trend reports.
