Number of candidates running for by-elections reaches 138

From 136 approved candidates 23 completed collection of signatures and handed in subscription lists. 4 candidates passed registration, while one person withdrew his candidacy, the Azerbaijani Central Election Committee (CEC) told Trend.

19 people are members of New Azerbaijan Party, 5 - Musavat Party, 2 - Communist Party, 2 - Adalat party. The Civil Solidarity Party, Popular Democracy Party, United Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party, Republican Party, Umid Party, Civil Unity Party, Great Azerbaijan Party, World of Democratic Azerbaijan Party and Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (classics) nominated per one candidate. Most of candidates ballot as independed.
