Vasili Khamaza: "The 2nd Azerbaijani-Russian Economic Forum is a new stage of cooperation"

As APA reports, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin, businessmen, public and state authorities will participate at the forum.

The organizers of this respectable meeting are influential state authorities, public institutions and business subjects. The Nikoil Investment Commercial Bank (ICB) being one of 10 biggest banks of Azerbaijan is also among the organizers of the Forum. It should be noted that one of the founders of Nikoil ICB is the Uralsib Corporation (one of the biggest financial establishments of Russia).

According to the Chair of the Administrative Board of Nikoil ICB, Head of the Azerbaijani Management of the Uralsib Financial Corporation Vasili Viktorovich Khamaza, the main aim of the Forum is further development of efficient cooperation between the government and non-government sectors of Azerbaijan and Russia. One of the im[portant questions of the Forum is current issues on joint activity and solution of topical problems existing in the dialog.

"Political stability in our countries, dynamical development indicators of various economic fields, mutual commodity circulation totaling $ 1 billion and finally, existence of prospects for joint activity make the 2nd Azerbaijani-Russian Economic Forum important and this Forum will be the beginning of a new stage of cooperation between our states and nations", - V.Khamaza stressed.

The Forum to continue till February 24 also includes opening of the biggest national exhibition of Russia. Products of leading Russian manufacturers will be demonstrated at that exhibition. Moreover, various roundtables, seminars and business-meetings are planned to be held during the Forum.

It should be reminded that Nikoil ICB is the subsidiary bank of the Uralsib Financial Corporation of Russia and is characterized as a financial bridge between Azerbaijan and Russia. Nikoil ICB, establishing close cooperation relations with state institutions, takes active part in implementation of investment projects which are so important for development of the national economy, and solution of main social problems.
