Iran-Russia talks on nuclear program

21 February 2006 [09:00] - TODAY.AZ
Next round of talks of Iran's nuclear program, on the basis of projects proposed by Russia, started in Moscow yesterday.

As APA reports, Iranian delegation for negotiations is led by National Security Supreme Council Deputy Chief Ali Huseyn-Tasha and Russian delegation is led by Security Council Deputy Chief Valentin Sobolev.

Ali Huseyn-Tasha said in his Moscow speech that current talks had no connection with the moratorium on uranium enrichment. The first round of talks was held in Tehran last year.

Russia is participating in construction of atomic power station in Iran. Offering assistance to Iran's nuclear researches, Russia proposes implementation of uranium enrichment in Russian territory.
