?lan Waddams: "Consultations within European Neighbourhood Policy between Azerbaijan and EU will go on in March 2006"

As Trend reports, he noted the works within the EU New Neighbourhood Policy will supposedly continue for 5 years and upon their accomplishment the Policy member-states will be completely ready for the EU membership.

According to Waddams, for today consultations on developing the Action Plan are going on and the forthcoming visit of the European Commission member Benita Ferrero-Waldner to the region will be dedicated exactly to discussing of this subject matter.

"The basic works within the cooperation of EU with Azerbaijan are focused in the trade sector, as well as in the support programs", the European Commission special envoy noted, saying the Brussels' support of Baku will go on further.
