Vurgun Ayyub: "Ali Kerimli didn't sign the appeal of "Azadliq" bloc forwarded to PACE because of Asim Mollazadeh"

03 February 2006 [04:32] - TODAY.AZ
"Those who think that they can influence making of any decision by attacking Musavat Party, are wrong. Such position of our allies can't influence the decisions Musavat Party to make. Only some factors can influence the decision, one of these factors is the resolution of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe".

As APA reports citing the Deputy Chief of Musavat Party Vurgun Ayyub, refusing to take a stance on mutual allegations used by allies in "Azadliq" bloc as well as members of National Unity Movement against one another Vurgun Ayyub urged the sides not to use such accusations against one another: "I am in favor of expressing opinion, argument on the issue. Our decision can also be influenced by convincing arguments".

As for those who are against attendance in the re-elections and the parliament, Vurgun Ayyub says it would not cause any serious problem: "Everybody can express his own opinion in the party. Even opportunities will be provided for them to conduct propaganda and any activity for achieving the decision they want. But in any case, Council makes the decision and everybody has to obey the decision".

Touching on the issue that Musavat will be removed from "Azadliq" bloc if it joins reelections Vurgun Ayyub said that these intimidations are pointless: "Removing Musavat Party from any bloc seems ridiculous. Party decides to participate in any bloc or remove from the bloc itself. As to "Azadliq" bloc, simply it is an election bloc. Opinions and proposals are made in order to turn the bloc into a political one. But these opinions and proposals should be discussed. I think that, so far, although in word, everybody considers that, the bloc should continue its activity and should turn into a political bloc. But our friends don’t do it in reality".

Touching on the issue that, another Deputy Chief of Musavat Party Arif Hajili says new bloc can be created with participation of Musavat. V.Ayyub thinks that, A.Hajili used this statement as a response to the accusations of PFPA and ADP functionaries.

Vurgun Ayyub exposed the reasons for PFPA chief Ali Kerimli's having not signed the appeal of "Azadliq" bloc to the leadership of PACE on disapproval of the credentials of Azerbaijani delegation: "Ali Kerimli says as if it is connected with technical problem. But it is not correct. He didn't sign it because of Asim Mollazadeh. Ali Kerimli said that Asim Mollazadeh was in the same party with him and refused to sign it. The fact is that Ali Karimli's signature was not under this document".
