President Aliyev accused Azerbaijani opposition in striking a deal with Armenian special services

The ground for this accusation is opposition’s addresses to the Council of Europe with request not to recognize the mandate of Azerbaijan delegation.

"They sent 200 denunciations to Strasbourg before PACE discussion of the Nagorno Karabakh question, so that the Azerbaijani delegation could not secure our interests," said Aliyev.

The president stated that this all favors to Armenia and its lobby, that uses corrupt politicians that deal with the Armenian Special Services, receive money from them and call themselves "opposition". He assured that the Azerbaijani people will never betray its interests. "Nagorno Karabakh is Azerbaijani territory, so the occupied territories must be returned, refugees be admitted to their territory, and all negotiations must include these issues," stated the President.
