Etibar Mammadov: "Colored ties no a sign of a democracy"

According to ANS, after giving information about the congress, he stated that, 210 of the participants showed disloyalty to Party Chief Ali Aliyev at the gathering.

E.Mammadov said that the next congress was scheduled to be held in late ten-day of April. Conferences will be held in region organizations and representatives will be elected to the congress within this period. Chief of Central Council Ayaz Rustamov will be acting party chief and Fuad Mukhtarov will be acting secretary general by the congress is held: "We should be able working within laws. According to E.Mammadov, A.Aliyev tries to appropriate the name of NIPA: "But it will never happen. The gathering he held is not a congress. Simply, he assembled guests and called it a congress." E.Mammadov said that Musavat, PFPA and ADP chiefs intervene in the affairs of NIPA by attending the gathering of A.Aliyev.

According to him, these persons attend the processes for their own favor: "But, this will not yield any result. It is not important for me what side they recognize as NIPA. They are co-operating not with NIPA, but with Ali Aliyev. Those calling themselves democrats should take steps within democratic principles. It is impossible to be democrat by wearing colored ties." E.Mammadov expressed his attitude to Ali Kerimli's joining the congress which was held by A.Aliyev. "I helped a lot of people formerly, but I didn’t do any of these in return for anything. If they are ungrateful in return for this help, it is their own business," he said.
