Turkish leader is expected in Azerbaijan late January

Turkish President Ahmed Necdet Sezer is expected to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan in late January, said Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Turan Morali.

He has told AssA-Irada the visit would be paid between January 20 and 25. The diplomat added that the Turkish president had been invited to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan back in 2004. “Since the president’s schedule last year was too busy, the visit did not take place. But preparations for the visit are being made,” the diplomat said and added that a number of agreements would be signed during the visit.
