6 Azerbaijani citizens set free from Armenian captivity, 8 Armenians repatriated to their country

6 Azerbaijani citizens captured by Armenian side were set free during 2005.
The information was given to APA by Working Group of State Committee on work with captive and missing people and hostages. The Working Group said that 208 people registered in State Committee as missing were identified. Besides, fact on 15 people’s being missing was discovered and included in the lists and search was initiated about them: “At present there is no captive or hostage Armenian in the territory of Azerbaijan.

8 Armenians who violated the state border and passed our territory were repatriated to their country”. It should be noted that as a result of Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan, 6561 Azerbaijani citizens were missing, taken hostage and captive. 1380 citizens of our country were searched and set free from being hostage. 169 of them were children, 340 women and 287 old people. At present 4659 people were registered in the State Committee as missing. 52 of them are children, 297 women and 386 old people.
