Iranian Foreign Minister is on a day-visit to Azerbaijan

Manuchohr Mottaki, the Iranian Foreign Minister, paid a day-visit to Baku on Monday. The visit started with a tribute at the Cemetery of Martyrs, Trend reports.

Mottaki was accompanied by the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, Khalaf Khalafov, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran, Abbasali Hassanov, as well as Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Afshar Suleymani.

The Iranian Foreign Minister is expected to meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov and give a joint briefing at the end.

The Minister will leave for Ankara on Monday evening.
