Health condition of Eldar Salayev rapidly deteriorates

"The health condition of academician Eldar Salayev, ex-president of National Academy of Science, who was presently being held in the isolated cell of the Ministry of National Security sharply deteriorated," informed Fikrat Mirzayev, advocate of the academician.

The advocate said that academician who is losing his sight is now suffering from the heartaches: "Today I met with him. If he was complaining of his eyes before, now he has heartaches. His health condition is unsatisfactory," said lawyer.

Mirzayev also said that no investigation actions are conducted against E.Salayev.
