Isa Gambar held press conference on results of his visit to Ukraine

Musavat party leader Isa Gambar held a press conference on October 24 where he reported about his visit to Ukraine. Musavat leader stated that, though he received many invitations from Ukrainian colleagues he could not visit all of them due to a shortage of time.

Gambar was invited to visit Ukraine again when the ADP leader Rasul Guliev was detained: "I was told that my visit to Ukraine is desired with a regard to Rasul Guliev's detention and other issues. Rasul Guliev was set free on October 20 and came to Kiev", said Gambar.

"I had a meeting with him and we discussed all issues, including the next steps to be taken by "Azadliq" bloc. Then he left for London and I continued my meetings in Ukraine", stated leader of Musavat mentioning that after that he had meetings with the leadership of "People’s Union Our Ukraine" bloc, Pora Party and administration of the International Republicans Institute while he was in Ukraine.

Gambar also attended the event on the theme "Ukraine-Azerbaijan: oil or democracy" and had discussions on the parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan. Later he signed a treaty of cooperation was signed between "Our Azerbaijan" bloc and "People's Union Our Ukraine" bloc.

In addition, Pora and Musavat Parties signed a document of cooperation. Gambar also noted that, he met with the community of Azerbaijanis- the administration of "Yusif Vazir Chamanzaminli Society" in Ukraine.
