Two oppositional leaders meet in Kiev, Ukraine

Immediately after his release Guliyev headed to Kiev where he had a meeting the chairman of the Musavat Party Isa Gambar. During the meeting with his ally on the Azadlig block Isa Gambar discussed with Guliev the socio-political situation in Azerbaijan and processes currently running in Azerbaijan.

Regarding his farther plans on arrival in Azerbaijan the leader of the Democratic Party declared that he will attempt one more time to come back to Baku, this time on the evening of the parliamentary elections.

Before departing from the Simferopol airport Guliev specified that he is going to come to Baku from Europe, where he will speak before the deputies in Strasbourg (at the Council of Europe) and describe them situation in Azerbaijan.
Guliyev also noted that he is aware of his possible arrest in Baku and nevertheless is determined to return
