President of Azpetrol Rafig Aliyev and a Turkish businessman arrested while boarding a flight Baku - Istanbul

President of Azpetrol company Rafig Aliyev has been detained while boarding an aircraft making a flight Baku-Istanbul at the Heydar Aliyev airport in Baku.

Along with Aliyev was arrested a Turkish businessman Burhan Vehchi, the head of the “Demir Oren” group of companies. This information was confirmed by the head of public relations centre of the Ministry of the National Security Arif Babayev.

It was also confirmed by the centre that the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations Nidjat Guliyev was detayened for the period of 15 days.
