Islamic Conference due in Azerbaijan

Baku will host an International Islamic Conference (IIC) in Baku on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Caucasus Clerical Board told Trend Attending the event will be delegates from Azerbaijan, Russia (North Caucasus), Iran, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey.
The delegations comprised of representatives from the religious bodies, as well as scientists will discuss actual problems of the Islamic world, inter-confession cooperation, and present the last scientific achievements.

Sheik-ul-Islam Haji Allahsukur Pashazada, the chairman of the Caucasus Clerical Board will lead the Azerbaijani delegation at the gathering.
