President will visit the south region at the week-end

Ilham Aliyev will participate in the opening ceremony of the monument to the late president Heydar Aliyev erected in the central square of Lenkeran, and will also take part in the opening ceremonies of the administrative buildings of the Milk Processing Plant, Sea port, Lungs Diseases Dispensary and Taxes Department #6 in the frame of his visit. It is expected that the head of the state will participate in the ceremony of laying down the foundations of the Lenkeran air port and be familiarized with construction of the Lenkeran Diagnostics Center. It was informed that I.Aliyev will also participate in the opening of the “Hirkan” National Park.

It was informed to APA from the Astara Executive Power that the president will participate in the opening of the Gas Compressor Station and ceremony of laying down the foundations of the stations of module type to be constructed.

The president Ilham Aliyev is also expected to visit Lerik region in the frame of this visit. This will be the first visit of the head of the state to Lerik in the history of independent Azerbaijan. According to the information given to the regional bureau of APA from the Lerik Executive Power, the head of the state will participate in the opening ceremonies of the Lerik-Lenkeran road constructed during a short period, brick-gravel plant, administrative building of the Ishbank and other buildings here.

It was also informed that the spouse of the state head to accompany him during his visit the president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva will participate in the opening ceremonies of several schools buildings constructed at the expense of means of the fund led by her in the south regions.
