982 complaints entered the European Court from Azerbaijan, 2 of them were accepted

982 complaints were made to the European Court on Human Rights from Azerbaijan till now.
It was informed to APA from the Information Office of the Council of Europe in Baku that, 617 of entered complaints will not be reviewed and those appeals were already given to the archive.

No decision was made on 197 cases, correspondence is conducted on 17 cases, and 2 appeals were accepted. These complaints will be reviewed in the European Court. 149 appeals were not reviewed yet as they entered recently.

It was also informed from the office that most of the appeals entered from Azerbaijan are due to the 6th clause of the European Human Rights Convention. This clause is related to fair court investigation.
