Defence Ministry taking operational measures amid fresh attack on Azerbaijani villages

The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry reported fresh attack on Azerbaijani settlements along the line of contact on October 3 morning.

The ministry said that Armenian armed forces subjected to intensive shelling the city of Terter, the district villages of Sahlaabad, Gazyan, Gapanli, Gaynag, Askipara, Gusanli, the villages of the Agdam region Ayag Garvand, Imamgulubeyli, Garadaghly, Tezekand, Gandmadzhanli region, Gagandaldinli Tapgaragoyunlu of Goranboy region.

Presently the villages of Guzanli, Alibeyli and Ayag Garvand of the Agdam region are under artillery fire and Azerbaijani army is taking counter measures.

Earlier, the ministry said that the military activities of Armenian Armed Forces in various directions of the front line were suppressed over the night leading to October 3, adding that the situation on the front line remains tense.
