Azerbaijani and Armenian journalists met in Istanbul

Meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian journalists was held in Istanbul on 10-13 June.
According to the information spread by the mass media of Armenia the dialogue organized in the format of working meting brought together journalists from Turkey and Georgia, too.

The meeting was dedicated to the media investigation of the South Caucasus region and in Turkey.

The meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian journalists was organized by “Yerevan” Press Club and “Yeni Nesil” Union of Journalists. Head of “Yeni Nesil” Union of Journalists Arif Aliyev told APA that, this was the last stage of the event of Azerbaijan, Armenian and Turkish journalists on the three-years of project.

The journalists from Georgia participated in the meeting as observers. The monitoring of giving coverage the relations Azerbaijan-Armenia, Azerbaijan-Turkey, Armenia-Turkey on the press was held in the frame of the project. “Yeni Nesil” UJ and Baku Press Club participated in the project from Azerbaijani side.

Arif Aliyev did not mention the name of Azerbaijani journalist who participated in the meeting with his Armenian counterpart. He stated that the technicians working on the project attended the meeting.
